"New Hearing has Opened my Eyes
Receiving the new hearing aid set I was attentive and pleased with my ability to hear and actually understand the instructions. While I did want to receive the instructional details, I was equally anxious to get out into the world and experience the feeling of life's ambient sounds. I was not however, ready for the overpowering reality of what I'd been missing. While I'm not exactly a small man nor new to life at 68, I suddenly felt like a tiny toddler hearing so many new things for the first time (in decades). Leaving the office I thought to myself that door certainly sounds metallic and has a squeak. Then the jingle of my car keys, click of the car door lock, squeak of the car door hinge, clack of releasing the car door latch, squish of my compressing the driver's seat and thunderous slam of closing the door. Then hearing sliding tumblers while putting the ignition key in and clicking when turned, it was a startling response to hear the tinny sound of my car engine cranking and clatter of it starting up. Now some irritating beeping was alerting me of something I'd never heard before, what the hell is that? The seatbelt warning light was on as usual but apparently it had sound to it too...all right I'll comply already just stop that damned dinging! Turning on the radio nearly blew the hearing aids out of my ears holy crap! I don't like rap (grandson was last in the car before me). Clicking off the radio I just sat there listening to the motor purr and thinking to myself, what in the world have I been missing. It brought humbling tears to my eyes as I sat there and pondered what lies ahead in this undiscovered world.
The rest of that first day was a continuum of new sounds and surprises at every turn. To experience it to the fullest I went to restaurants and shopping as busy places. I wanted to simply immerse myself in the richness of life's sounds that I'd missed for so long.
That day's experiences were nearly overwhelming, but I sincerely thank you for it. Since then I've been getting out more and wanting to exercise my gregarious side. it wasn't until then that I realized just how reclusive and unsocial I'd become to avoid the embarrassment of poor hearing and the disassociation stigma of a hearing impairment. Hearing Aids of Jax has given me a new lease on life and I truly thank you for that.
Sincerely, Larry V."

"Dear Judy, Wayne and Daryll:
Thank you so very much for the wonderful care and service I received when buying my new hearing aids.
Everyone was very personable and professional. Besides the special treatment I received, my hearing aids are perfect. I never realized I could hear so well again.
Thank you, Sandra L."
"I would like to thank everyone at Hearing Aids of Jax. They were very knowledgeable and gave me quality professional care in the purchase of my new hearing instruments.
I am only 54 but, I worked in a noisy environment in the past and shot a lot of guns. I would misunderstand a word or 2 out of the sentence-playing catch up to the punch line. Sometimes I would hear but most of the time I couldn't understand a certain word.
Now, with my new hearing instruments, I can understand what people are saying. What a difference it has made in my life! I already realized I was missing out but WOW I didn't realize how much until H.O.J. fit me with my new hearing instruments!
Thanks again, and my family and friends thank you more!!
Thank you so much,
I remember when I first decided to be tested that I had a lot of problems, I was working in an office at the time and it was embarrassing to have to ask people to repeat what they were saying. I also remember how annoying it was not to hear an ambulance or fire truck coming up the road.
I have been a satisfied client of Hearing Aids of JAX for several years now. The professional Care and Attitude of the Staff (Wayne, Judy, and Daryll) make you feel at ease and at home when you are there. There has never been a time when I needed Service, that I wasn't taken care of in a professional and caring manner and my problems were solved.
